You are running your game wrong if Paladins, Warlocks, and Clerics don't lose their powers if they don't follow what their Patron/Deity tells them. I mean unless you're bonded to a Chaos entity... then by default what ever you do would technically be in line with what they profess... but you'll have to convince them of that. But that being said you can play anyway you want... you have the right to be wrong.

These things always wax and wane for a myriad of reasons. Live stream viewership in general is a bit down. And when you start branching out and diversify your running portfolio, it's natural for your audience to do so too (so you gotta observe the totality). There's a good bit of overlap, bit with live viewing in particular, a large chunk of your audience can't dedicate that much time at those hours every week, they gotta choose and pick up some of it on VOD instead. Especially with these long-form 3-5 hour long episodes. Even just within North America, if you're just a couple of time zones away from them the show either runs deeep into the AMs m, or even _starts_ in the early AMs. On a weekday. In most of the world, the stream either starts running in the middle of the night - again, on a weekday - or it's running during work/school hours. Only things I've seen suggesting they are actually struggling, is a handful of videos like this from creators looking to get attention by being controversial. And even then, including suggestive flock mentality, it's really not reflected in the feedback or commentary either. So I can't imagine it's particularly sustainable for these creators to go down this road.

Journo company/website goes under. Don't see how this is such a huge blow to the industry. I'm interested in the actual games and those publishers aren't effected by this other than maybe less media coverage. As for many of the other sites drinking the Kool aid with bias positive coverage that's not exactly new in this or any industry. And since I actually have a functioning brain I can spot the BS pretty easily, you get use to it being a gamer as I've called BS on many hyped things over the years pointing out red flags to friends. Sometimes they don't wanna listen and think I'm being overly Negative like with that latest Sim City release several years back as I pointed out the pending disaster. Only to have them regret their day one purchase and seeking refunds after release. That case was one I remember quite well as it strained some friendships due to them being so invested in it being good. I got asked afterwards if I ever got tired of being right? I replied NO, I get tired of having to say I told you so because people don't believe me. But regardless people are always putting spins on things to make it sound better in all aspects of life you just gotta learn to read between the lines. Like a Janitor up spinning their job saying they are in charge of Waste Management and Disposal, it's like you take out the trash and clean up the floors. And just like with the Janitor the need to dress it up makes it sound like you are ashamed of it and not confident in what you do. As such flowery language and such is often a potential red flag as it reeks of low confidence. And if the person selling you the item is not confident in their own product maybe you shouldn't be either. Plus even if most aren't clever enough to spot the BS there are plenty of independent content creators out there willing to point out the obvious. So the loss of one news site, even if fairly impartial in their coverage goes under, I don't think it will have too big of an impact on the industry. There are lots of reason they could be going under from not popular enough so lacked revenue, to the overall industry is already shrinking and thus less potential customers to their site, to mismanagement of finances, and so on.
